Grim morning and too West to windsurf in Llanfairfechan, Didn't fancy loading car with wind kit so took 9m kite to West Shore.. Two going out as I arrived 11:30, in the rain and I got soaked as I helped launch. Having an enforced break soon so went for it. Rain stopped as I was rigging leaving overcast and ok, and 10 out altogether.
Not as windy as I feared so OK on 9m, Great fun getting used to kite again in ok chop and as tide dropped some smooth waves and flat inshore.
Tried a few toeside which mostly worked but when I fell the velcro on straps undid as feet too big in winter boots so took it easy. Leon got over 30knots on kite, some big jumpers out. Gusty and I reckoned kite was better as windsurf ideal varied from 4.7m to 5.3m. Mark(?) windsurfing in the waves far out as I packed up. Best November yet, wind/kite 15 days.
